This Week In Worship March 7, 2010 Luke 10:38-42 Matthew 6:19-21 This week we continue on in our sermons series which corresponds with our Lenten small group study on Michael Slaughter's book, Momentum For Life.  This week, we will address Slaughter's third principle for momentum: Investing in Key Relationships.  There are two sets of key relationships: 1) our family--parents, spouse, partner, and children; and 2) those who are strategic to our life mission--mentors and those we are mentoring.  We will look at these relationships and examine how we invest in them as we live the life God has called us to.

 

 

United Methodists have had a long-standing relationship with Haiti through the Methodist Church of Haiti. The strong ties between the Methodist Church of Haiti and The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) helped in facilitating the opening of the UMCOR Haiti field office in 2005.
